Description

This course provides an introduction to common applications of mathematics within manufacturing. Students are given opportunities to develop proficiency in arithmetic calculations and to apply mathematical principles for effective on-the-job training applications. The use of mathematical principles and operations as they relate to machine control and repair/fabrication methods is emphasized.Prerequisite: ABE 40 and a score of 7.0 or higher on a standardized testing instrument and teacher recommendation.
