Description

This course offers instruction of low advanced English grammar and structures to English language learners to strengthen their speaking and writing skills in preparation for workforce, life skills and transition into a variety of college programs. Structures covered in class include introductions to past participle forms, present perfect aspect, gerunds and infinitives, and pronoun reference in direct and indirect speech. Practice includes both oral and written activities.Prerequisite: Appropriate score on the ESL placement test or Department Consent
