The Welding-Fabrication Certificate is for those who want to acquire the technical knowledge and skills required for workers in welding and fabrication. Learn industry safety standards in welding. Develop fundamental skills in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Oxy-fuel Welding. Additional skillsets will be learned in thermal-cutting, industry math and blueprint reading. Fabrication skills learned will include metal forming, cutting, assembly, processing and metallurgy fundamentals. The certificate courses ladder into a degree program.
